Encompass navigates and celebrates the business of cutting edge music in the
heart of London; it's an event that requires exploration. Part conference,
part festival, part museum: you're invited to dip your toe into a wide range
of business and art over a weekend when fans and industry will come together
and show the world why London rocks.

With 100 DJs and live bands playing across six London venues based around
the day time location of the Old Truman Brewery, Encompass can now announce
its first release of artists and labels playing from April 29 ­ May 1, Bank
Holiday weekend.

Encompass is driven by cutting edge music - we're complementing the vast
array of amazing events that happen all over London by pushing labels and
artists who keeps us ticking. Using electronic music as a starting point
the showcases will include bands and DJs from a wealth of genres. Reflecting
the truly international and multi-cultural, genre-spanning nature of the
event labels confirmed to play at Encompass so far already include some of
the most revered labels in their respective fields. Goldie¹s pioneering drum
n bass imprint Metalheadz, the jazzier edged sounds of Jazzanova¹s Sonar
Kollektiv, Novamute¹s futuristic techno, Kitty Yo¹s live eclecticism, 20:20
Vision¹s sublime house, Nasha¹s Asian style breaks and even Lex¹s
alternative and progressive take on hip hop to name but a few lead the way
in contemporary electronic music. From France¹s Different to Denmark¹s
Platform, Germany¹s esteemed Raum and the Dutch boys from Electronation,
Encompass is already creating waves across the entire European continent and
beyond. In summary we can now proudly confirm the following artists and
labels will be appearing across the 6 venues and at the inaugural Encompass
Music Conference this April 29 ­ May 1.

And that¹s just the first announcement of acts and labels playing at
Encompass. As we think you¹ll agree that¹s already a mouth-watering
proposition over 3 glorious days and nights of unrivalled musical
excellence.

During the daytime there will be eight hours of music on the main stage,
whilst the night time venues of neighbouring clubs Cargo, 93 Feet East,
Spitz, Vibe Bar and Herbal will host nightly label showcases bringing a
further five hours of cutting edge music per day from around the world to
the heart of London¹s Brick Lane and vibrant Hoxton area.

future and celebrating our musical heritage.
